Mousse

There is a soft prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. According to Wikipedia, it is called mousse. There is also a soft prepared hair styling product that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture also called mousse or sometimes styling foam. This product originated in France and came to the United States in the early 1980's. Modern formulas of mousse can give your hair movement and hold that makes it ideal for most hair textures. Mousse can be used as a base for smooth blow drying or it can add both weight and strength to natural curl. It is mostly dispensed in an aerosol foam spray and is easily applied with just your hands. It is difficult to overuse because it contains mostly air and if after application you don't feel there's enough hold, simply apply again. Once the hair is in place and has dried you can either brush it through or work it into place with your fingers for a natural and defined look.
